Our elopement in Oregon part 1

Oh my heart, this trip was so meaningful and special for us. When we got engaged, it was the year before Covid hit, so when we planned our elopement for 2020 .. well we all know what happened there. We were originally planning for Yosemite, and then decided to push it back and wait given the madness that was happening in the world. And then when we found out that Rem was on his way, we decided to push back again. Then our little dude came into the world and our lives were completely changed in the best kind of way and wedding plans were put off for even longer. In September we finally did the thing. We talked to our photographer (Anni Graham the queen!) and we told her we just wanted to stay in a sweet little house somewhere peaceful and beautiful just the three of us and have chill slow days. She suggested Manzanita Oregon so we said let’s do it. There was something so beautiful about not overthinking it, just leaning into what felt easy and right to us. We found the cutest little beach house right on the water where we could hear the waves at night and watch the fog clear up over the mountains in the morning. We spent so many days just running around on the beach and drinking tea and reading books and chasing our little dude around and it was absolutely perfect. Here is part 1 of our trip, our beach days and hangs and an obscene amount of photos of Rem, part 2 with the actual elopement coming soon!
